How long does a visit last?
The guided experience lasts approximately 100 minutes. To preserve the continuous flow of the programme, interruptions are not possible.
Are there age-restricted contents within the exhibition?
The exhibition includes historical war events and certain lighting effects that may not be recommended for younger children. The exhibition is open to children from the age of 8, but is recommended for children over the age of 12.
In which languages is the exhibition available?
The exhibition is available in Hungarian, English, German , Spanish and French. Our colleagues will help on site to set the language of the exhibition.
Is there access for disabled people?
The exhibition is accessible for visitors arriving in a wheelchair; however, in some rooms the authentic set design (e.g., cobblestones, sand) may make passage more difficult. In such cases, our staff will be happy to assist you.
Are photos allowed during the exhibition?
Photos are allowed throughout the exhibition, but flash photography is prohibited. Please respect this to not to disturb others!
Is it allowed to eat or drink at the site?
Food and drink are not permitted throughout the exhibition. Only water is permitted.
Is using the cloakroom mandatory?
Yes, the use of the cloakroom is compulsory and no large bags or backpacks are allowed in the exhibition area. The use of the cloakroom is free of charge and lockers can be opened with a 100 HUF coin, which will be returned on departure. If you do not bring a coin, we will provide you with a token.
Ticket purchase, cancellation
Is it necessary to reserve tickets in advance or is purchase on-site possible?
We recommend to buy tickets beforehand, to ensure your place. On-site ticketing is available, but your preferred date may already be full.
What should I do if I miss my reserved date?
In case you miss your appointment, we cannot guarantee that there will be a place available in the next time slot. In this case, we will not be able to refund the ticket price and the ticket cannot be used later. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time and please note that the venue is located in the city centre where traffic is often unpredictable.
What should I do if I want to rebook my purchased ticket for another time?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the date. If you have purchased a ticket, your reservation is only valid for that date and cannot be changed. Therefore, if you are not sure of the date, we recommend that you choose the on-site ticket option. This does not guarantee secured entry if we are full.
What should I do if I want to transfer my ticket to someone else?
The ticket is transferable, but it is important that the person who arrives at the venue has the QR-coded ticket, obtained through Cooltix ticketing.
Can I cancel the booking permanently?
Appointments can be cancelled and we thank you in advance if you let us know using one of our contact details. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reschedule the appointment. However, tickets are transferable, so think of a friend or family member who would like to attend in your place.
What should I do if I do not receive my purchased ticket by e-mail?
First, please check your spam folder to make sure that your ticket has not ended up there, and that you have entered the correct e-mail address when booking. If this still does not solve the problem, please contact Cooltix customer service directly, as ticket sales are done through the Cooltix interface.
Is it possible to buy a gift ticket?
Of course, it is possible. In this case, please select the Gift Voucher option. When purchasing a gift voucher, there is no separate weekday or weekend ticket type. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
