For a minimum of 10 people the entrance fee is 5000 HUF / person. One teacher for every 10 students is admitted free of charge. For additional teachers, the accompanying ticket costs 6000 HUF / person.

How long does a visit last?
A vezetett tárlat időtartama körülbelül 100 perc. Az élmény folyamatosságának megőrzése érdekében a program megszakítására nincs lehetőség.
Are there age-restricted contents within the exhibition?
A kiállítás során háborús történelmi események is feldolgozásra kerülnek, valamint bizonyos fényhatások is megjelennek, amelyek kisebb gyermekek számára nem feltétlenül ajánlottak. A kiállítás 10 éves kortól látogatható, azonban elsősorban 12 éves kor felett javasoljuk a megtekintését.
In which languages is the exhibition available?
A kiállítás magyar, angol és német nyelven is elérhető.
Is there access for disabled people?
A kiállítás kerekesszékkel érkező vendégeink számára is látogatható, azonban egyes termekben az autentikus díszletek kialakítása miatt (pl. macskakő, homok) az áthaladás nehezebb lehet. Ilyen estekben kollégáink készséggel nyújtanak segítséget.
Are photos allowed during the exhibition?
A kiállítás teljes területén a fotózás VAKU HASZNÁLATA NÉLKÜL engedélyezett!
Is it allowed to eat or drink at the site?
Food and drink are not permitted throughout the exhibition. Only water is permitted.
Is using the cloakroom mandatory?
Yes, the use of the cloakroom is compulsory and no large bags or backpacks are allowed in the exhibition area. The use of the cloakroom is free of charge and lockers can be opened with a 100 HUF coin, which will be returned on departure. If you do not bring a coin, we will provide you with a token.
Ticket purchase, cancellation
Is it necessary to reserve tickets in advance or is purchase on-site possible?
We recommend to buy tickets beforehand, to ensure your place. On-site ticketing is available, but your preferred date may already be full.
What should I do if I miss my reserved date?
Amennyiben lekésed az időpontodat, sajnos nem tudjuk garantálni, hogy a következő induló időpontban lesz mégszabad hely. Ebben az esetben a jegy árát nem áll módunkban visszatéríteni és a jegy később sem használható fel. Kérjük, érkezz legalább 10 perccel a kezdés előtt és vedd figyelembe, hogy a helyszín a belvárosban található, ahol a forgalom gyakran kiszámíthatatlan.
What should I do if I want to rebook my purchased ticket for another time?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the date. If you have purchased a ticket, your reservation is only valid for that date and cannot be changed. Therefore, if you are not sure of the date, we recommend that you choose the on-site ticket option. This does not guarantee secured entry if we are full.
What should I do if I want to transfer my ticket to someone else?
The ticket is transferable, but it is important that the person who arrives at the venue has the QR-coded ticket, obtained through Cooltix ticketing.
Can I cancel the booking permanently?
Appointments can be cancelled and we thank you in advance if you let us know using one of our contact details. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reschedule the appointment. However, tickets are transferable, so think of a friend or family member who would like to attend in your place.
What should I do if I do not receive my purchased ticket by e-mail?
First, please check your spam folder to make sure that your ticket has not ended up there, and that you have entered the correct e-mail address when booking. If this still does not solve the problem, please contact Cooltix customer service directly, as ticket sales are done through the Cooltix interface.
Is it possible to buy a gift ticket?
Természetesen van rá lehetőség. Ebben az esetben kérlek válaszd ki az ajándékutalvány menüpontot. Ajándékutalvány vásárlása esetén nincs külön hétköznapi, illetve hétvégi jegytípus. Vásárlástól számított 6 hónapig érvényesek.
Van lehetőség SZÉP-kártyával fizetni?
Jelenleg még folyamatban van a SZÉP-kártyás fizetés bevezetése, de hamarosan már ezzel is lehet majd nálunk fizetni.

Are groups required to book and pay in advance?

We would like to participate in an interactive class, how can I book it?
When booking, please choose from our combined ticket types the one that includes the interactive class. Please indicate before finising which topic you would like to go through with our well-known historians. This will add an extra 1 hour to the program.
What topics are available within the interactive classes?
Almost any topic related to the history of Budapest. Please contact us with any questions at info@timemachinebudapest.hu.
What should I do if the school group exceeds 20 people?
In this case, the group can start in several rounds with 30-minute delays. A group must have at least 1 teacher and the teacher must be counted in the 20-person limit.
Is it possible for the students eat their lunch on site?
Unfortunately, eating during the exhibition is not possible, as bags are not permitted throughout the visit. But, after or before the exhibition, it is possible to eat in the lobby, without disturbing the other groups. In case of the interactive class, students are allowed to eat throughout the whole class.
