A baloldali szem\u00e9lyek \u00e9s p\u00e1rtszervezetek elleni fell\u00e9p\u00e9s mellett meger\u0151s\u00f6d\u00f6tt az antiszemitizmus: a M\u0171egyetemen \u00e9s a P\u00e1zm\u00e1nyon zsid\u00f3ver\u00e9sek k\u00f6vett\u00e9k egym\u00e1st, f\u00fcggetlen\u00fcl att\u00f3l, volt-e k\u00f6z\u00fck a kommunist\u00e1khoz. Erre r\u00e1er\u0151s\u00edtett a numerus clausus, amely \u201em\u00e1sodrend\u0171 \u00e1llampolg\u00e1rr\u00e1 tette a zsid\u00f3kat\u201d \u2014 a zsid\u00f3 lakoss\u00e1g kiszolg\u00e1ltatott, c\u00e9lzott c\u00e9lpontt\u00e1 v\u00e1lt a Horthy-korban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trianon nyom\u00e1ban: s\u00falyponteltol\u00f3d\u00e1s a f\u0151v\u00e1rosba<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A b\u00e9keszerz\u0151d\u00e9s elvesz\u00edtette Magyarorsz\u00e1g t\u00f6bb region\u00e1lis k\u00f6zpontj\u00e1t (Pozsony, Kassa, Temesv\u00e1r, Kolozsv\u00e1r). Ennek k\u00f6vetkezm\u00e9nye, hogy Budapest szerepe meger\u0151s\u00f6d\u00f6tt: ide koncentr\u00e1l\u00f3dott a tudom\u00e1nyos \u00e9let \u00e9s a gazdas\u00e1g, a korszakban a f\u0151v\u00e1ros a magyar termel\u00e9s ~60%-\u00e1t adta. V\u00e1rosmajori templom) \u00e9s lass\u00fa, szerves \u00e1talakul\u00e1s jellemezte a v\u00e1rost. Tab\u00e1nt lebontott\u00e1k, de az \u00faj v\u00e1rosr\u00e9sz nem \u00e9p\u00fclt meg; az Erzs\u00e9bet sug\u00e1r\u00fat (ma Mad\u00e1ch-s\u00e9t\u00e1ny) terve is megrekedt. A mag\u00e1nt\u0151ke h\u00fazta a v\u00e1rosfejl\u0151d\u00e9st, mik\u00f6zben az \u00e1llami\/\u00f6nkorm\u00e1nyzati forr\u00e1sok f\u0151k\u00e9nt a k\u00f6zleked\u00e9st c\u00e9lozt\u00e1k: Margit h\u00edd kisz\u00e9les\u00edt\u00e9se, a Szabads\u00e1g h\u00edd moderniz\u00e1l\u00e1sa, villamosvonalak egys\u00e9ges\u00edt\u00e9se \u00e9s Budafokig vezet\u00e9se, k\u00f6zm\u0171fejleszt\u00e9sek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Budapest a politikai rendszerben: f\u0151v\u00e1ros, m\u00e9gis \u201el\u00e1zad\u00f3 t\u00fcske\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noha Budapest a f\u0151v\u00e1ros, a Horthy-korszakban bizonyos fokig m\u00e1sodrend\u0171 szerepbe szorult. A korm\u00e1nyzati elit d\u00f6nt\u0151en vid\u00e9kr\u0151l \u00e9rkezett, a rendszer a vid\u00e9ki \u00fari r\u00e9teget prefer\u00e1lta, Budapestnek saj\u00e1t erej\u00e9b\u0151l kellett fejl\u0151dnie. A f\u0151v\u00e1ros ugyanakkor liber\u00e1lisabb k\u00f6zeg maradt: leg\u00e1lisan \u00e9s er\u0151sen m\u0171k\u00f6d\u00f6tt a szoci\u00e1ldemokrata p\u00e1rt, az ellenz\u00e9ki mozgalmak \u201emeleg\u00e1gya\u201d volt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vil\u00e1gv\u00e1ls\u00e1g a f\u0151v\u00e1rosban: munkan\u00e9lk\u00fclis\u00e9g, szeg\u00e9nytelepek, megszor\u00edt\u00e1sok<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A \u201929\u2013\u201933-as v\u00e1ls\u00e1g m\u00e9lyen \u00e9rintette Budapestet: a g\u00e9pipari megrendel\u00e9sek zuhan\u00e1sa t\u00edzezreket tett munkan\u00e9lk\u00fcliv\u00e9 (id\u0151szakonk\u00e9nt ~100 ezer f\u0151). A v\u00e1ros \u00e9s a korm\u00e1ny \u00e9p\u00edtkez\u00e9sekkel pr\u00f3b\u00e1lt munk\u00e1t adni (k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen \u00e9p\u00edt\u0151munk\u00e1soknak). N\u0151tt a szeg\u00e9nygondoz\u00e1s ig\u00e9nye (kb. 3 milli\u00f3 peng\u0151re), az egyh\u00e1zi karitat\u00edv h\u00e1l\u00f3zatok (k\u00f6zt\u00fck a zsid\u00f3 felekezetek\u00e9) is kulcsszerepet v\u00e1llaltak \u2014 nem fesz\u00fclts\u00e9g n\u00e9lk\u00fcl. A kilakoltat\u00e1sok szaporodtak, a sz\u00fcks\u00e9glak\u00e1sok sz\u00e1ma kev\u00e9s volt, a M\u00e1ria Val\u00e9ria-telep \u00e9s m\u00e1s szeg\u00e9nytelepek ben\u00e9pes\u00fcltek. Bart\u00f3k, Dohn\u00e1nyi, Kod\u00e1ly emelt\u00e9k vil\u00e1gszintre a zenei \u00e9letet. Budapesten szervez\u0151d\u00f6tt a magyar filmgy\u00e1rt\u00e1s \u2014 a k\u00e9t vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fa k\u00f6z\u00f6tt expork\u00e9pes volt (N\u00e9metorsz\u00e1g, Franciaorsz\u00e1g), a v\u00e1ros a zene \u00e9s kabar\u00e9 fellegv\u00e1ra lett (pl. \u00c1brah\u00e1m P\u00e1l darabjai B\u00e9cs-Berlin-Amerika sz\u00ednpadain).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zsid\u00f3sors a Horthy-korban: numerus clausust\u00f3l a zsid\u00f3t\u00f6rv\u00e9nyekig<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A zsid\u00f3 lakoss\u00e1g helyzete folyamatosan romlott: a numerus clausus \u00e9s az 1930-as \u00e9vekt\u0151l a zsid\u00f3t\u00f6rv\u00e9nyek kv\u00f3t\u00e1kkal, h\u00e1zass\u00e1gi \u00e9s foglalkoztat\u00e1si tilalmakkal korl\u00e1toztak, a \u201ezsid\u00f3 vagyon\u201d kereszt\u00e9ny k\u00e9zbead\u00e1s\u00e1t c\u00e9lozva. Ezzel egy\u00fctt lak\u00e1s\u00edns\u00e9g jelentkezett (t\u00f6bb mint 60 ezer ig\u00e9nyl\u0151), mert a beruh\u00e1z\u00e1sok nem ingatlanokra mentek. A jegyrendszer 1941-t\u0151l \u00e9p\u00fclt ki, \u00e9s a zsid\u00f3t\u00f6rv\u00e9nyek a f\u0151v\u00e1ros mindennapjait is megterhelt\u00e9k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A pesti gett\u00f3 1944\u201345: k\u00e9nyszer, t\u00fal\u00e9l\u00e9s, felszabadul\u00e1s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1944. m\u00e1rcius 19. (n\u00e9met megsz\u00e1ll\u00e1s) ut\u00e1n a korm\u00e1ny assziszt\u00e1lt a deport\u00e1l\u00e1sokhoz. \u00c1prilis: s\u00e1rga csillag, m\u00e1jus: deport\u00e1l\u00e1sok, Budapesten csillagos h\u00e1zak, majd k\u00e9tf\u00e9le gett\u00f3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201eNemzetk\u00f6zi gett\u00f3\u201d \u00e9s v\u00e9dett h\u00e1zak (\u00dajlip\u00f3tv\u00e1ros, nov. 18.),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bels\u0151-Erzs\u00e9betv\u00e1rosi gett\u00f3, ahov\u00e1 k\u00e9s\u0151bb sokakat \u00e1t is helyeztek.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A t\u00fal\u00e9l\u00e9si strat\u00e9gi\u00e1k k\u00f6z\u00f6tt szerepelt a b\u00fajtat\u00e1s (kb. 20 000 f\u0151), hamis pap\u00edrok (pl. Hasom\u00e9r Hacair fiataljai), v\u00e9dlevelek\/v\u00e9d\u0151\u00fatlevelek (sv\u00e9d ~5000, sv\u00e1jci kb. 7000 csal\u00e1d alap\u00fa enged\u00e9ly). A gett\u00f3 0,3 km\u00b2-\u00e9n ~70 000 ember zs\u00fafol\u00f3dott \u00f6ssze; alult\u00e1pl\u00e1lts\u00e1g, j\u00e1rv\u00e1nyok (t\u00edfusz, dizent\u00e9ria), \u00e1ram- \u00e9s v\u00edzhi\u00e1ny, f\u0171t\u00e9si gondok mindennaposak voltak. A Doh\u00e1ny utcai zsinag\u00f3ga mellett 2282 \u00e1ldozatot temettek el; a gett\u00f3 halottainak sz\u00e1ma 10\u201315 ezer lehetett.<br>Felszabad\u00edt\u00e1s: 1945. jan. 16\u201318. a szovjet csapatok \u00e1tt\u00f6rt\u00e9k a pal\u00e1nkfalat; a visszaeml\u00e9kez\u00e9sek a \u201efekete keny\u00e9r\u201d \u00e9rkez\u00e9s\u00e9t eml\u00edtik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emberment\u00e9s: diplomat\u00e1k \u00e9s szervezetek<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dombi G\u00e1bor kiemeli a semleges orsz\u00e1gok szerep\u00e9t: a sv\u00e9d, sv\u00e1jci, vatik\u00e1ni, portug\u00e1l, spanyol akci\u00f3k, a v\u00e9dett h\u00e1zak rendszere \u00e9s a v\u00e9dlevelek t\u00f6megeket mentettek meg. Raoul Wallenberg a J\u00f3zsefv\u00e1rosi p\u00e1lyaudvarr\u00f3l sz\u00e1zakat mentett; Giorgio Perlasca \u00e9s m\u00e1sok helyt\u00e1ll\u00e1sa n\u00e9lk\u00fcl a vesztes\u00e9g \u201eak\u00e1r sz\u00e1zezrekkel is nagyobb\u201d lehetett volna. A Nemzetk\u00f6zi V\u00f6r\u00f6skereszt a gyermekment\u00e9st jelent\u0151s \u00f6sszegekkel t\u00e1mogatta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>T\u00fal\u00e9l\u0151k \u00e9s \u00fajrakezd\u00e9s 1945 ut\u00e1n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A felszabadul\u00e1s \u00f6r\u00f6m\u00e9t sokakn\u00e1l sokk k\u00f6vette: elveszett csal\u00e1dok, elfoglalt vagy lebomb\u00e1zott lak\u00e1sok, hosszan elh\u00faz\u00f3d\u00f3 \u00e9lelmez\u00e9si v\u00e1ls\u00e1g. Sokan kiv\u00e1ndoroltak (USA, Kanada, Ausztr\u00e1lia, D\u00e9l-Amerika; ~17 ezer Erec-Izraelbe).
